The Vista 401(k) Plan is a savings plan sponsored by your school district. It offers significant tax benefits with the pre-tax Traditional 401(k) Plan or the post-tax Roth 401(k) Plan.

Traditional 401(k) Tax Benefits
The amount of the reduced taxes will vary with the amount you contribute and your tax bracket.
As an example, if 28 percent of your income is withheld and you invest $150 into your 401(k), the net difference in your actual take-home pay may be less than $150.
This comparison assumes an employee contributes $150 per month, and is in a 28% tax bracket.
Roth 401(k) Features
The Vista 401(k) plan now offers a 401(k) Roth Plan. This is a post-tax investment that does not require the participant to take a Required Minimum Distribution upon turning 73 years of age. Qualified distributions are withdrawn on a tax-free basis.
